One day, Sam decided/chose/wanted to climb/scale/go up the tallest/biggest/highest tree in the yard/garden/park. He didn't/couldn't/wasn't able to see/realize/understand the danger/risk/peril he was in. As he reached/got to/climbed up to the top, the branch/limb/twig broke/snapped/fell. Sam plummeted/fell/crashed to the ground with a loud/sharp/painful thud/sound/crash.
- Luckily, Sam wasn't/didn't get/sustained any serious/major/critical injuries.
- But, he learned a valuable lesson/teaching/truth: always listen/heed/pay attention to guidance/advice/warnings from trusted/reliable/responsible people.
From/After/That day on, Sam became much more cautious/careful/thoughtful. He understood/realized/learned the importance/value/significance of being safe/secure/protected.
Sam's New Friend
Sam was experiencing a little down. He wanted to have a new buddy to play with. One day, while he was running in the park, he spotted something unusual. It was a little creature with colorful feathers. Sam quietly went up to the creature and spoke, "Hello! What's your identity?" The creature smiled and replied Sam, "You can call me Lily!" And so, Sam made a new mate. They spent the rest of the day laughing together.
Sam was so happy to have found a new friend. He knew that he and Lily would be best friends forever.
